Adventure Chronicles
Be passionate, Be curious, Be adventurous

The Pacific Institute estimates that in 2006: Producing the bottles for American consumption required the equivalent of more than 17 million barrels of oil, not including the energy for transportation; Bottling water produced more than 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide; and it took 3 liters of water to produce 1 liter of bottled water. We have heard statistics that in America along we throw away around 100,000 plastic bottles everyday.
So what is the Adventure Chronicles recommendation? Get out and buy a Hydro Flask Insulated Bottle….. Wait, don’t completely disregard those piles of Nalgenes that we all have laying around at home. Just put them aside, we will get back to them soon.
Hydro Flask makes a non-porous 18/8 stainless steel material means that it is highly resist to and retaining bacteria, odor and flavor. It makes it easy to clean and transfer from the morning coffee, to afternoon water to something stronger in the evening with ease. The patent pending mouth solves the age-old problem of spilling water down your front with a unique design that allows liquid to flow easily in a straight line and into your mouth, but is big enough to fit ice cubes, powder drinks and tea bags.
The flask does not sweat and with its double wall vacuum insulation it keeps the morning coffee hot for 12 hours and the afternoon ice tea cold for up to 24 hours. If this seems a little out of the ordinary don’t question it. We tested it and were pleased to find it true. Filling the flask in the morning with hot coffee we left the flask and that evening we poured ourselves a HOT cup of coffee. It raised our eye brows but we were finally grateful that we found a product that we could trust with our hot and colds.

One final item; back to those piles of Nelgene bottles that we set aside before. Let’s take those bottles, style them up, drop a pen/pencil and notepad in the bottle and get out adventure discover someplace new and place a new Nelgene summit register.
